The Reef (Racer) Swimwear.
There are hundreds of different species of Coral. Their dazzling array of shapes, colours, species and structures make them one of the world’s most remarkable, important and irreplaceable natural gifts.
Coral is found all over the world's oceans, from the Aleutian Islands off the coast of Alaska to the tropical waters of Lord Howe Island deep in the South Pacific Ocean.
The largest (and we think the most breathtaking) lives here in Australia. The Great Barrier Reef is composed of over 2,900 individual reefs and stretches over 2,300 kilometres along the Queensland coast.
However, this natural wonder is under serious threat. Climate change has caused our ocean temperatures to rise, resulting in coral bleaching. Devastatingly, one-quarter of the Great Barrier Reef has already died and the long-term effects of coral bleaching are irreversible.
All our swimwear is made from 100% regenerated nylon yarn derived from ghost fishing nets and other plastic pollution. Specifically, it’s made from 78% recycled polyamide (fishing nets and plastics) and 22% elastane.
